Dear Diary:

In July, I moved back east after living in Michigan for 17 years. Right before we left Michigan, we had bought a defective stroller and had sent it back to the company with instructions to mail the new stroller to our new address. Sure enough, the stroller was mailed to my old address. I went back to Michigan (without my family) at the beginning of August for a wedding, and picked up the stroller and checked it on the plane. Arriving in New York, I then took a cab to my office near Pennsylvania Station. After I exited the cab, I went to the trunk and took out the stroller, and the cab began pulling away. As it pulled away, a homeless-looking man in the street started shouting, “The baby, the baby, you forgot the baby!”
